Dr. Miljenko Math, was born at Zagreb on 08. January, 1949. He completed the primary education as well as mathematical gymnasium in 1967 in Zagreb. That same year he enrolled the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Zagreb, and graduated in 1974 at the Design Department, course Thermo mechanics. He acquired the Master′s degree in 1981 at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Zagreb. He acquired the Doctor′s Degree in 1990.Since February 1975 he has been working continuously at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Zagreb at the Department of Technology, Chair of Metal Forming, first as assistant II. He was elected scientific assistant in 1981, assistant professor in 1992, associated professor in 1997 and from 2002 he is full professor for Mechanical technologies and machining systems.
His research interest includes forming, microforming and nanotechnology, flexible production and systems, hydroforming, incremental forming, multi point forming, finite element simulation and numerical simulation of forming processes.
