Min Soon Kim, PhD is Assistant Professor of Health Informatics in the Department of Health Management and Informatics (HMI) and core faculty of University of Missouri Informatics Institute (MUII) at the University of Missouri – Columbia. Dr. Kim has an extensive collaborative history in informatics implementation, and usability evaluation studies and publications in HIT. He has conducted, using a range of mixed method approaches, several evaluation projects, including usability evaluation of generalist and specialist EHRs involving physicians and nurses, clinical decision support systems (CDSS) involving physicians in emergency medicine, and clinical information needs analysis of health care stakeholders, including clinicians and patients in primary care setting.
