Biography

Dr. Ming Chen received his B.Sc. (1991) from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, China in Materials Science, M.Phil (2000) from The University of Hong Kong, China in Condensed Matter Physics and PhD (2009) from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, North Dartmouth, MA in Biomedical Engineering. After that he got his Postdoctoral Training in Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH)/Harvard Medical School (HMS), Boston, MA from 2009 to 2011. Between 2011 and 2012 he was an Associate Research Scientist at Northeastern University, Boston, MA. Currently he is a Research Associate in University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT. Dr. Chen has worked in many research areas of science and technology including metal materials, high temperature superconductors, super hard materials, condensed matter physics, nanotechnology, biomaterials, tissue engineering, drug delivery, endocrine disruptors contamination in environmental health and so on. He is reviewer for 9 International journals including Tissue Engineering, Nanotechnology, and Biomedical Materials etc. He has been invited as a plenary and an invited speaker in several international conferences throughout the world.
