Mirza Hasanuzzaman an agriculturist and Assistant Professor of Agronomy of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka born in 10th September of 1978 in Bangladesh. He pursued B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons.) course in Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka and stood first with first class (in 2000). Mr. Hasanuzzaman showed his brilliancy M.S. (in Agronomy) examination (2005) as well, where he also stood first with GPA 4.0 in a scale of 4.0 (Above 90% +marks). At present he is pursuing Ph.D. course at Kagawa University, Japan under the Japanese government (MonbuKagakusho) scholarship in the field of plant physiology and Molecular Biology. He started his working life as a research assistant in USAID funded international project in 2005. He joined as a lecturer in the department of Agronomy of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University. His field of specializations are Agronomy, Plant stress responses, Crop Physiology, Weed science and Agronomic research Methodology. In addition to teaching he is pursuing research works in different field of Agriculture. He has more than 50 research publications in national and international Scientific Journals. He has written few scientific book and book chapters on important aspects of plant physiology, plant stress responses, environmental problems in relation to plant species, role of micronutrients on plant defense system. These books were published by the internationally renowned publishers. He is a research supervisor of undergraduate and graduate students. He is Editor, Reviewer of more than 40 peer reviewed international journals. Mr. Hasanuzzaman is active member of about 30 professional societies. Ha has been honored by different authorities due to his outstanding performance in different fields like research and education. He attended and presented abstracts, posters in national and international conferences in different countries. He also has experience of being examiner, visiting faculty, in different educational institutions and universities. His administrative experience is good. He was assistant provost in students’ hostel, member of website committee of his own serving university. He is owner and moderator of various internet based mailing groups and research based groups.
His field of specializations are Agronomy, Plant stress responses, Crop Physiology, Weed science and Agronomic research Methodology.
