Dr. M. Nadeem Akhtar got his Ph.D. in 2004 from Karachi University, Pakistan and postdoc from Germany with Prof. Karsten Khron at University Paderborn in 2005. Currently, he is working as a associate professor at University Malaysia Pahang, Malaysia. His Research group is actively involved in the Structural Elucidation of Natural Compounds from medicinal plants, synthesis of bioactive compounds especially in drugs design and development for cancer, inflammation, antinoceciption and Alzheimer’s diseases. He has research collaboration with University of Malaya, University Putra Malaysia, International Centre for Chemicals Sciences, HEJ Research Institute of Chemistry, University of Karachi Pakistan and GC University Lahore. He has published more than 42 papers in the prestigious international ISI journals. Participation and Speaker of International and National Conferences. Holding many national and international workshops on NMR and Mass spectroscopy techniques. Reviewer of many international journals.
