Biography

I received my PhD from Pusan National University, South Korea, in September 2007. Shortly thereafter, I joined Monash Electrochemistry Group at Monash University (advisor: Prof Alan M Bond) as a postdoctoral researcher, where I worked on the development and application of modern electroanalytical techniques. In September 2010, I received UQ postdoctoral Research Fellowship from The University of Queensland, where I worked on the development of microfluidic technology for protein biomarker isolation and detection. Currently I hold an ARC Grant (DECRA, Discovery Early Career Researcher Award) from Australian Research Council. Previously I received several academic/research fellowships/grants including "Graduate Student Award" from Pusan National University (S. Korea) in recognition of the top PhD in the year of 2007, Monash University Postdoctoral Research Fellowship (2007-2010) from Monash University (Victoria, Australia), and UQ Early Career Researcher Grant (2011) from The University of Queensland (Queensland, Australia).
