Dr. Murat Sarioglu has received his PhD from Istanbul Technical University during the period of 2007. Currently, he is working as Principal Process Engineer and researcher at Montgomery Watson Harza MWH consulting engineers. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as Principal Process Engineer/Researcher. He is serving as a peer reviewer for several reputed journals like Journal of Membrane Science and Water Science and Technology. He has authored 19 research articles/books. He is a member of the Water Environment Federation, International Water Association, and Turkish Chamber of Environmental Engineers. He has honored as 2000 Outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st Century, by the International Biographical Center in Cambridge, England.
His research interests include: Nutrient removal in membrane bioreactors, Simultaneous nitrification and denitrification (SNdN) in membrane bioreactors, Mass transfer limitation in membrane bioreactors, Water reuse using microfiltration, ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis, Treatment of brine resulting from brackish water RO plants downstream of activated sludge plants, Enhanced anaerobic digestion using thermal hydrolysis and pressure.
