Biography

Ozlem Cakici received her PhD in Biology in 2008. She got the associate professor degree in 2014. She is working in the Zoology Section of Biology Department in Ege University. She completed peer-reviews of some international journals: Archives of Environmental Contamination and Toxicology, International Journal of Nanomedicine, Drug Design, Development and Therapy, Toxicological Sciences, Indian Journal of Pharmacology, Clinical and Experimental Gastroenterology, Anatomia, Histologia, Embryologia, Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry, Journal of Electron Microscopy

Research Interest

Ozlem Cakici is working on the effects of histopathological effects of pesticides, especially on lizards, frogs and mice.
She is also interested in the mechanism of pesticides.
One of the interest area of her is the various histochemical staining methods.
She is examining the surface of insect egg morphology by scanning electron microscopy. 
In addition, she is interested in cricket culture and internal organ structures of some insects.
