Biography

Pavel Todorov Timonov (MD, PhD) Department of General and Clinical Pathology and Forensic Medicine – Medical University of Plovdiv, Bulgaria. PhD thesis “Sex determination from the femur in a Bulgarian population”. He is an author of more than 40 publications in national and international journals and 50 presentations in scientific reunions concerning forensic anthropology, sex estimation, facial assessment. Author of 2 books on Forensic anthropology. Memberships: IALM (International Academy of Legal Medicine), FASE (Forensic Anthropology Society of Europe ), Bulgarian Anthropological Society. Working on research project “Cephalometric examination and 3D virtual modelling of the face aiming at construction and visualization of 3D facial statistics and creating cephalofacial database” funded by the National Science Fund of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Science, Bulgaria.
