Biography

Professor Philip (Fanqiang) MENG had rich experience in pharmaceutical industry. He has been working as the president and CEO of H&J CRO International Inc since 2005. Before he joined H&J he worked two year in PHAEMACIA as Chief Scientific Advisor, and three years in Pfizer ï¼Ãâ Chinaï¼Ã¢â¬Â°as Chief Science Advisor. Dr. Meng is also an experienced psychiatrist. He worked in clinical psychiatry for seventeen years with years oversea working/training experience in Johns Hopkins University and King’s College London Institute Of Psychiatry (Maudsley Hospital).For seven years he practiced as Professor and Dean of dept Clinical Psychiatry, the Vice President in Institute of Mental Health Peking University, a leading psychiatric hospital and the WHO Collaborating Center for Research & Training on Mental Health in China. Dr. Meng had been working as a WHO advisor for International Study of Somatoform Disorder and Major Depressive Disorders for three years. As a professor of Psychiatry, he published more than 40 articles in both China local and international peer-reviewed Journals
