Biography

Dr. Prasant Kumar Panda has received his Ph.D in Economics from Pondicherry University, India. He is currently working in the Department of Economics, Central University of Tamilnadu, India. Previously he worked in various UG and PG Colleges of Pondicherry University. He was also a visiting faculty at Orissa University of Agricultural and Technology, Bhubaneswar. He is a life member of the Indian Econometric Society and Indian Association for Research in National Income and Wealth. He received first prize for his work in a programme for South Asian Region Participants at National Institute of Public Finance and Policy(NIPFP), New Delhi in 2008. Being recognized as an inspired Teacher , he was invited to participate in the prestigious "Inspired teachers' In-Residence Programme at Rashtrapati Bhavan" in 2015. He has published extensively and worked as referee for various reputed Journals.
