Dr. Prema Menezes PhD, PA-C is an Epidemiologist and Clinical Scientist with a broad background that includes 12 years of HIV clinical care and direct involvement in the design, conduct and implementation of clinical trials and translational and laboratory based research. She is Co-Director of the UNC Center for AIDS Research – Clinical Core; sub-investigator in the AIDS Malignancy Consortium at UNC; and an adjunct professor at Duke University.; conduct of clinical trials - ethics, good clinical practice, CONSORT. She teaches graduate students at UNC and Duke University and provides mentorship to masters, doctoral and post doctoral students. She is the course coordinator and co-Instructor for the clinical trials course for the graduate program at UNC. She has collaborated in several successful NIH funded grant applications.
