Dr.PULIPATI KING was born on 12-07-1970 in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh. He did his B.Tech(Chemical Engineering) with first class in the year 1991, M.Tech (Chemical Engineering) with first rank in the year 1993 and Ph.D(Chemical Engineering) in the year 2000 from A.U.College of Engineering(A), Andhra university, Visakhapatnam. He has joined in the department of Chemical Engineering, A.U.College of Engineering (A), Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, A.P as lecturer in the year 1994 and promoted as Associate Professor in the year 2000, and as Professor in the year 2006. He has 23 years of teaching and research experience in the University and doing active research in the fields of Environmental Pollution Control Engineering, Ionic mass transfer, fluid flow, biosorption and acute toxicity. He has guided successfully 15 research scholars for the award of Ph.D degree and 36 students for M.Tech degree so far. He has published and presented 173 research papers in various international/national journals and international/ national conferences. He has received the awards, Sugar cane research station Anakapalli Golden jubilee endowment award in 1994 from Andhra University,Visakhapatnam, the Corps of Engineers award from the Institution of Engineers(India) in 2007, Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan award for best academician of the year 2015 from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, Eminent scientist award-2015 from National Environmental Science Academy(NESA), New Delhi, Outstanding scientist award-2015 from Venus International Foundation, Chennai, Teaching Excellence Award during Indo-American Education summit-2016 from The Indus Foundation, USA, and Best teacher of the college for the year 2016-17 under TEQIP(II) from A.U.College of Engg(A), Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.
