Qiming Xian

Dr. Xian Qiming is a professor of environmental Chemistry in Nanjing University, China. Dr. Xian has worked in the Department of Environmental Science of Nanjing University for 6 years since he had received a PH.D in Environemtal Science from Nanjing University. He teaches "Environmental Monitoring" for junior students in School of the Environment and "Environmental Organic Analytical Chemistry" for senior students. He got a postdoctoral fellowship from ENSRC, Canada and studied passive sampling method in Health Canada in 2008-2009. Dr. Xian is interested in analytical technology of trace pollutants in water and chlorinated disinfection byproducts in drinking water, and he had published more than twenty research papers in international journal. He had got the research fund form National Natural Science Foundation of China. He worked in Physics & Chemistry Test Center of Jiangsu Province from 1988 to 2002 as a chemist, where he was responsible for GC-MS analysis services.
