Editor-in-Chief
Postdoctoral Associate, Department of Chemistry
State University of New York, USA
Dr. Qin Hu obtained her Ph.D degree in Department of Chemistry, Hong Kong Baptist University at Mar 2015. She started to work in State University of New York at Buffalo as a Postdoctoral Associate since May 2016. She has authored more than twenty research articles. She is on the Editorial Board of four reputed journals. Also, she is the reviewers of twelve International Journals.
Dr Hu focuses the research in the field of analytical chemistry, with particular interests in separation science. One current research effort is centered on the development of analytical separation methods in combination with mass spectrometry and various spectroscopic methods for the separation and analyses of fluorescent carbon nanoparticles. Another area of this study is the application of carbon nanoparticles as new analytical sensing tools for the quantification of targets. Specifically, Dr Hu acquired expertise on cytotoxicity assessment and pharmacological application of nanoparticles such as cell culture, flow cytometry, confocal microscopy, real time PCR, and enzymatic assay.
