Qing Wang is an Associate Professor of Materials Science and Engineering Department at the Pennsylvania State University. He received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Chicago under the supervision of Professor Luping Yu in 2000.Among other awards, he has received the National Science Foundation CAREER Award, Rustum and Della Roy Innovation in Materials Research Award, and Virginia S. and Philip L. Walker Faculty Fellow. His research interests include the development of electroactive polymers, polymer nanocomposites, conjugated polymers, ion-containing polymers and multifunctional materials for energy storage and conversion applications.
