Qiong Yang has received PhD in statistics and she is currently working as an Associate Professor in Biostatistics, Boston University School of Public Health. Her main research interest is implementing and developing statistical methods for genetic studies. She works on several Framingham Heart Study projects, including linkage and association mapping of cardiovascular diseases or related quantitative traits such as lipids, Hemostatic factors, Kidney functions and women’s age at menopause.
Her interests in methodological development in statistical genetics include family-based association tests, Multiple testing problems, and Analysis of repeated measurements.
