R. Goekmen Turan, Regenerative Medicine supervisor of Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Rostock University Hospital, Germany. 1999-2003 Clinical Training as medical resident at the Department of internal medicine, division of Cardiology, Pneumology and Agiology at the University of Cologne. 2003-2008 Research fellow at Laboratory of Stem Cell Transplantation and Molecular Cardiology, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Cardiology, Pneumology and Angiology, Heinrich-Heine-University, Duesseldorf, Germany. Since 2009 Regenerative Medicine supervisor of Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Rostock University Hospital. Member of ESC/Heart Failure/Cellular Heart Biology, AHA, DGK, TKD. Numerous science awards (Young investigator awards WCC 2006 in Barcelona/Spain, 2007 in Hamburg/Germany, Clinical Investigator Vascular Awards in International Clinic Vascular Biological Congress 2007 and 2008 in Antalya/Turkey) publications about regenerative medicine in cardiovascular field. 2008 Subject of biographical record in Who´s Who in the World.
