Rabiah Badar received her Masters degree in Electronics from Quaid-I-Azam University, Islamabad, in 2005. She did MS Computer Engineering from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Islamabad, in 2009. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Abbottabad, Pakistan. She is an active member of her research group. She has published many research papers in impact factor journals and international conferences. She is the winner of CIIT research productivity awards for the years 2012 and 2013. She is the reviewer of many journal papers and book chapters. Her current research interests include Nonlinear Adaptive Control, Applied Mathematics, Signal Processing, Optimization Techniques, Embedded Systems, Artificial Intelligence, FACTS Controllers, Power System Stability and Control.
