Dr. Raïda CHAKROUN is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at High Institute of Business Administration at Sfax University- Tunisia (Department of Accounting, Law & Taxation). She is a Researcher at LIGUE-ISCAE (University of Manouba- Tunisia). Raïda CHAKROUN started working at the University from 2005. She held the positions of Teaching Assistant of Accounting at High School of Business Administration ISAAS- University of Sfax- Tunisia (2010-2012) and High School of Commerce of Sfax, University of Sfax- Tunisia (2005-2010). In 2013, she obtained his doctoral degree at Manouba University with her thesis entitled: “The supply and demand of voluntary information in Tunisia: analysis of disclosure through annual reports.” She currently teaches Accounting and Taxation. Dr. Raïda CHAKROUN worked on several topics published, forthcoming, or still being worked; contributing to national (e.g. Chakroun, 2013) and international literature (e.g. Chakroun and Matoussi, 2012; Chakroun, 2012) Furthermore, Dr. Raïda CHAKROUN presented her academic work at several prominent international conferences (Tunisian Association of Management sciences, International Business Information Management Association, 1st and 2 Mediterranean Critical Studies in Accounting and Finance Conference, Congress of the French Accounting Association and International Conference of Governance). Her current research interest is in Financial Accounting: quality of financial reporting and voluntary disclosure in particular. In addition, Dr. Raïda CHAKROUN is a member of the Tunisian Accounting Association.
