Dr. Rajendra Karki is elucidating the roles and regulation of NLRs in inflammasome-dependent and -independent functions in inflammatory and infectious disease models. During this time, he identified novel functions for several members of the NLR family in infection, inflammation and cancer. He have contributed to a total of 23 peer-reviewed research publications and reviews (eg. Cell, Cell Host Microbe, Nature Immunology, Journal of Experimental Medicine, Journal of Clinical Investigation).
Dr. Rajendra Karki is interested in the signaling molecules that drive cancer, inflammatory, autoimmune and infectious diseases.
