Ramon Cacabelos is Professor and Chairman at the EuroEspes, Chair of Biotechnology and Genomics Camilo José Cela University Madrid Spain and President of the EuroEspes Biomedical Research Center Institute for CNS Disorders Corunna Spain. He earned his MD at Oviedo University Medical School Oviedo Spain and his PhD at Osaka University Medical School Osaka Japan where he has been working for almost a decade at the Department of Psychiatry. He has published more than 400 peer-reviewed papers and 17 books. He has been teaching in 4 different universities in Spain and abroad for 20 years. He serves as President of the Spanish Society of Genomic Medicine and is the current Founder President of the World Association of Genomic Medicine. He served as a reviewer in more than 20 peer reviewed journals in the areas of neuroscience psychopharmacology drug development genomics and pharmacogenomics. He organized several International Conferences over the past 10 years. He is the Editor-in-Chief of The EuroEspes Journal GenT; Genomic Medicine Pharmacogenomics and Health Biotechnology. He has received several national and international Awards.
