Dr. Remel A. Salmingo completed his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Technological University of the Philippines - Visayas and followed by M.Eng. and Ph.D. in Human Mechanical Systems and Design from Hokkaido University. He is currently working at JJ X-Ray A/S in Denmark.
His research interests are orthopaedic biomechanics, tissue biomechanics, orthopaedic implant development and Finite Element Modeling.
