Nonlinear laser matter interactions this includes parametric instabilities, Laser fusion, Laser accelerators, Raman and Brillouin amplification, Solitons in fibres, Photon shocks, Photon radiation pressure. Development of techniques to study broadband photon instabilities for a variety of applications.
