Biography

Dr. Roberto Federico Villa is an Associate Professor of Pharmacology of the Department of Biology and Biotechnology at University of Pavia (Italy) for degree in Biological Sciences and Chemistry. He is Doctor in Biological Sciences (D.Sc.), Medicine and Surgery (M.D.)

Dr. Villa’s research interest on Physiopathology and Pharmacology of Central Nervous System Diseases (Aging, Hypoxia, Ischemia, Hyperammoniemia, Hypoglycemia, Depression, Parkinson) and drug’s interference on cerebral Bioenergetics and Molecular Medicine, by Functional Proteomics and Metabolomics of enzyme systems and on Dementia patients.

He has published Scientific papers total 325: 122 (IF about 310 ISI); 65 Congress Proceedings; 138 communications, participating to 199 Congress (officially invited to 133 since 1993). International appointments ad hoc: (i) reviewer for grants - The Wellcome Trust Foundation, London, U.
