Dr. Romy Lauche, PhD has studied psychology with a focus on neurophysiology and research methods at the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena, Germany. She has received the Hufeland Research Award for Complementary Medicine for her work on cupping. Her main responsibilities include the conduct of clinical trials, supervision of doctoral students; and teaching. Her main interests include complementary and integrative medicine in general; and Traditional European Medicine and Mind/Body techniques in particular. During her Ph.D. studies Romy Lauche has also become a certified mindfulness instructor and acquired knowledge in research methods, such as EEG, fMRI etc.
