Dr. Li is currently an instructor in the Department of Radiation Oncology, Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Li obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida, focusing on the development of advanced signal processing methods for human electroencephalography (EEG - brain signal) analysis. He did his postdoctoral research at UCSD, in the field of medical physics and radiation therapy. His postdoctoral work primarily focused on the development of advanced motion management techniques for lung cancer radiotherapy. In 2011, Dr. Li joined the Department of Radiation Oncology at Stanford University, expanding his research areas to image-guided and adaptive radiation therapy.
Ruijiang Li′s research interests span from image-guided and adaptive radiotherapy, medical image analysis, as well as the applications of statistics and machine learning in radiotherapy.
