Sabato Manfredi receives in 2001 the M.Sc. degree in Electronic Engineering (automatic control curriculum) from University of Naples Federico II. From November 2005 is assistant professor and adjunct professor of Automatic Control with Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, University of Naples Federico II. Areas of application include congestion control in computer networks, consensus protocol design over wireless sensor networks, multi agent systems, load balancing and active queue management. He works on prototyping control strategies through microcontroller and FPGA based embedded systems. He is team coordinator of research and industrial projects, inventor of European and Italian Patents and founder member of an academic Spin-Off.
Automatic control, with special regard to the modeling and control of distributed systems, communication networks and complex systems.
