Salah A.M. Elmoselhy holds MS in mechanical design and production engineering, MBA in international manufacturing systems, and PhD in Mechanical Engineering. He professionally holds the titles of Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and Certified Project Manager (CPM). He has ten years of industrial experience in CAD/CAM and robotised manufacturing systems. His research experience covers in related-diversification the four main research themes in Mechanical Engineering: design, materials science, manufacturing, and operations management. He is the innovator of the Hybrid Micro-composite E-springs, the Directional Load Ratio theory in laminated composite structures, and the Hybrid Lean-Agile Manufacturing System. He has authored/co-authored about twenty refereed publications including ISI-indexed and SCOPUS-indexed journals and conference publications. His research appears in journals such as Journal of Manufacturing Systems and International Journal of Materials and Product Technology. He is an Associate Member of IMechE and recipient of the 2009 ASME Award of Excellence in advancing the engineering profession in robotics.
