Samuel C.O. Ugbolue, has been a Professor of Polymer Science and Textile Technology with industrial and academic experiences in the UK and Nigeria. He is a full time faculty in the Department of Materials and Textiles, University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth,USA. He graduated with MS and PhD from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK.He has published numerous scientific papers and book chapters dealing with fibers,yarns, fabrics, dyeing and finishing, polymer chemistry and nanotechnology.He has presented numerous academic lectures internationally. He is a Fellow of The Textile Institute, Fellow of the Polymer Institute and member of many professional societies including the AATCC, Materials Research Society, American Chemical Society, ASEE and AIChE. His latest book is Polyolefin fibres: medical and industrial applications, Woodhead Publishing Ltd. 2009.
