Dr. Samy L Habib is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Robotics and Minimally Invasive Surgery, within the Department of Urology at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. He received his bachelors degree at the University of California at Berkeley, his masters degree at Georgetown University, and subsequently his Medical degree at New York Medical College where he graduated at the top of his class. He went on to complete his urologic surgery training at Columbia University and followed this with a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Oncology at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. His focus in on applications of robotics and laparoscopy to urology, specifically focused on kidney, adrenal and prostate cancers.
