Sanjeev K Baniwal, PhD
Department of Orthopaedics
University of Southern California, USA
Sanjeev K Baniwal received PhD degree in molecular cell biology from Goethe University, Germany in 2007. Current focus of his lab at the University of Southern California (USC) is to understand the molecular basis of interaction between steroid hormone receptors and Runx2. Since these transcription factors perform major regulatory roles in tumor and skeleton biology, Dr Baniwal’s work has important implications not only for Prostate and Breast cancers but also to osteoporosis and other skeletal metabolism related disorders.
