Dr. Sarfaraz Jasdanwala was born and raised in Gujarat, India. He attended Baroda Medical College and graduated in the top 5th percentile of his class. During his time in India, Dr. Jasdanwala also taught Clinical Pharmacology at Maulana Azad Medical College. In 2012 he came to the United States for his medical residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey, which he completed in 2015. He currently works as family physician for Salem Memorial Hospital in Salem, MO. As a resident at Monmouth Medical Center, he was awarded The Scholarship Award for outstanding scholastic performance and research.
Dr. Jasdanwala’s research interests include Pancreatic Disorders, Gastrointestinal manifestations of metabolic obesity and NAFLD.
