Dr. Saulat Jahan has received her Fellowship in Community Medicine from College of Physicians and Surgeons, Karachi, Pakistan, and MPH from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan. Currently, she is working as Head of Research and Information Unit in Public Health Administration, Qassim, Saudi Arabia. In addition to conducting research projects, she is involved in teaching and training primary health care physicians and post graduate students of Saudi Diploma in Family Medicine Program. She is a peer reviewer of several reputed journals. She is a member of peer-review community of Dove Medical Press Ltd- The publishers of Open Access peer-reviewed journals in the domain of medicine, science and technology. She has authored various research articles related to primary health care, infectious diseases and health education. She has also authored a book chapter regarding epidemiology of foodborne illness.
Dr. Saulat‘s research interests include epidemiology; primary health care; preventive medicine; women health; child health; infectious diseases, and chronic diseases.
