Supported by a NIH T32 pathology training grant to work on toxicity and efficacy of electrochemogene therapy in animal models of human cancer. Current research compares the efficacy and toxic effects of different electrochemotherapeutic combinations and/or electrogenetherapy in mouse models of human solid tumors. Work included tumor grafting of syngeneic mouse tumors in numerous inbred strains of mice, treatment of mice with either intratumoral or intramuscular (systemic) electroporation of various chemotherapeutic drugs and either targeted or wild-type interleukin 12 gene, clinicopathologic testing, cytokine analysis, and gross and histopathologic evaluation of several hundred mice
