Biography

Senta Niederegger is the head of the Forensic Entomology Department of the Institute of Legal Medicine Jena Germany Graduation 1999 at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology ETH Zürich in Environmental Sciences PhD in Biology 2003 at the MaxPlanckInstitutes for Developmental Biology in Tübingen and for Metals Research in Stuttgart on the Attachment devices of arthropods.

Research Interest

Forensic Entomology, Development of dipteran larvae, Geographic distribution of forensically relevant insects, Postmortem interval calculation, Attachment devices in insects and spiders.
