Biography

Sergei Grishanov got his PhD in Textile Machinery Engineering from Research Degree Committee, Moscow, Russia 1980. He got his Degree of Engineer in Textile Machinery Engineering Leningrad Textile Institute, Russia in 1974. He is the Reader in Textile Science and Design from De Montfort University, and Associate professor of St-Petersburg State University of Technology and Design.

Research Interest

Mathematical modelling of structure and properties of textiles and processes of textile technology, computer-aided design systems for textiles, natural and synthetic fibre processing, spinning, weaving, knitting and non-woven materials and technology, testing of textile fibre and textile materials.
