Biography

Shahnon Mohamed Salleh was born in Columbus, Ohio, USA. He holds a Master′s degree in Media and Information Warfare from Universiti Teknologi Mara, Malaysia and Bachelor of Multimedia (Digital Media) from Multimedia University, Malaysia. Prior to joining the academia, he has experiences working in the broadcasting and online media industry as a political editor, broadcast and online journalist. He is currently the Postgraduate Coordinator at the Centre for Media and Information Warfare Studies (CMIWS), Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, Universiti Teknologi Mara, Shah Alam, Malaysia. His research interests are political communication, social media studies and propaganda.
