Shikui Tang, PhD
Executive Editor
Department of Astronomy
University of Massachusetts, USA
Shikui Tang is currently a research fellow at University of Pennsylvania, after he finished his first postdoctoral training in Harvard Medical School. He received his Ph.D. in Astronomy in 2009 from University of Massachusetts Amherst. During his graduate study, he involved in a broad range of research topics: stellar spectroscopy, X-ray binaries, supernova remnants, super-bubble, and hot gas in intra-cluster and intergalactic space as well as in individual galaxies. His dissertation comprehensively explored the stellar feedback on galaxy formation and evolution, by conducting hydrodynamic simulation, theoretical modeling, and observational data analysis. A series of research papers were published in referred journals.
