Biography

Dr Siddharth Yadav graduated from Vardhaman Mahavir Medical College & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi. He further pursued his post graduation in Masters of Surgery in the same institute and is currently working as a resident in the same hospital. Safdarjung Hospital is one of the largest government funded hospital in Asian subcontinent and serves the poor. He has experience in conducting academic sessions of undergraduate and post graduate students. He has attended various national conferences and workshops and presented a few papers. His interest in research work is reflected by a completed research on comparison of scoring systems in acute appendicitis and an ongoing research on MR spectroscopy in nodular goiter. He has various international publications (indexed in pubmed) to his name such as splenic artery aneurysm, giant traumatic abdominal wall hernia, actinomycosis of thigh and double vas. There are 3 national publications also. His current field of interest is Gastrointestinal surgery and hepatobilliary oncology and he plan to pursue an academic career in the same.
