Sima Noghanian received her B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 1992, and M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees, both in electrical engineering, from the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada, in 1996 and 2001, respectively. In 2001, she was at Yotta Yotta Corporation, Edmonton, Canada. She received a Postdoctoral Fellowship from Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada in 2002, which she took at the University of Waterloo. She was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Sharif University of Technology during 2002-2003. From 2003 to 2008, she was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Manitoba. Since 2008, she has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of North Dakota.
