Dr. Sisir Nandi completed Ph.D. in Indian Institute of Chemical Biology (CSIR), Kolkata as a CSIR -GATE fellow and had been awarded Ph. D. in Pharmacy degree (2011) by the Jadavpur University, Kolkata. He did his Post-Doctoral research based on the prediction of new promising cycloaddition reactions: quantum chemical calculations and reactions modeling at transition state levels using different basis sets and theory under the European Union Marie Curie fellowship in Laboratory of Chemometrics, National Institute of Chemistry, Hajdrihova 19, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia, Europe. His specialization is Pharmaceutical Chemistry and research work is based on the area of Pharmacoinformatics (branch of medicinal & pharmaceutical chemistry) related rational drug design which includes QSAR & drug design, biological activity prediction of lead compounds, ligand-receptor interactions, virtual screening, combinatorial library design and lead-hopping. He published a number of original research articles and reviews in reputed international journals having high impact factor. He presented his research work in many international conferences around the world. He is the reviewers of many research articles of Medicinal Chemistry Research and Arabian Journal of Chemistry. He is Editorial Advisory Board of International Journal of Biomedical Research; Journal of Computational Methods in Molecular Design and Associate Editor ofInternational Journal of Pharma Research and Health Sciences. He is having more than 10 years of research experiences.
