Dr. Slobodan Savic is Head of the teaching staff for the course in Forensic Medicine in English language, BUSM since 2000, Education and professional background: 1976-1982 - medical studies, Belgrade University School of Medicine (BUSM), 1985 - Masters Study, BUSM, magisterial thesis "Fatal Home Accidents", 1987- specialization in forensic medicine, BUSM, 1992 Doctorate, BUSM, Ph.D. thesis "Medicolegal Characteristics of Suicides in Males", April 1995 - June 1997 - scientific advanced study at the Department of Forensic Medicine, University of Lund, Sweden, where he got a certificate as a Swedish specialist in forensic medicine, Registered as a permanent court expert for the field of forensic medicine by the Ministry of Justice, the Republic of Serbia, Memberships: Serbian Medical Society, Serbian Association for Forensic Medicine, Balkan Academy of Forensic Sciences, the president of this academy in 2006/2007, National expert group for development and health of young people, founded by the Ministry of Health, Republic of Serbia - subgroup for children protection from abuse and neglect, President of the Ethical Committee of the Republic of Serbia – 2007 - 2012, President of the Serbian Society of Victimology - since November 2009, Vice-dean of the School of Medicine in Belgrade –2009 - 2012So far, around 200 titles published in the international and domestic journals, proceedings of scientific meetings, as well as books and textbooks.
