Biography

Professor Appadoo is a professor of Management Science in the Department of Supply Chain Management at the University of Manitoba. He teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses. His research work is published in highly reputable international journals and in referred proceedings. He constantly receive request for collaborative work and to publish his work in international journals. His area of interest covers the theory and application of Management Science-Operations Research, mathematical programming, application of fuzzy systems, possibility theory, and time series models in both deterministic and fuzzy setup, GARCH modeling, inventory models, decision analysis, multi-criteria decision mak-
ing and their application to supply chain management. Professor Appadoo is the recipient of various awards both in research and teaching. In 2012, he received a Joint merit awards which recognizes performance in the 2011 academic year in terms of research. Professor Appadoo is on the editorial review board for various international journals. He served on departmental, faculty level and university level committees. He contributes extensively to
his professional community that includes review process, conference chair, academic reviewer and other scholarly activities.
 

Research Interest

Research Interest mainly focus on Management Science applications, Fuzzy Systems, Financial time series process, GARCH modeling, Optimization Models, Stochastic Programming, Fuzzy Inventory Models, Application of fuzzy sets theory to Supply Chain Management and Multi-Criteria Decision Making Models such as TOPSIS models and Analytic Hierarchy Process and their application to supply chain management.
