Stefanos A. Nastis (snastis@auth.gr) is a full time lecturer in Agricultural Economic Development at the department of Agricultural Economics, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He holds Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees in Economics from the University of Wyoming and a B.S. in Agricultural Economics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His research focuses on the intersection between environmental and agricultural economics. He has worked on estimation issues of environmental impacts on human health and on agricultural productivity, on farmers’ risk preferences towards health hazards and on the effectiveness of agri-environmental schemes, on issues of risk and agricultural biodiversity, and on the effects of climate change on agricultural productivity, and on the efficiency of agricultural cooperatives.
