Biography

Syam P. Nukavarapu, Ph.D., is an assistant professor at the University of Connecticut, in the departments of Orthopaedic Surgery and Chemical, Materials & Biomolecular Engineering. He obtained doctoral degree from the Indian Institute of Science, India, and later received post doctoral training at Lehigh University and the University of Virginia. He has published several peer reviewed journal articles, reviews, opinion articles, and book chapters in the area of Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering. Dr. Nukavarapu is a member of the various professional societies and has been serving on various editorial boards.
