Dr. Sylvia Kwok is the Associate Professor at the City University of Hong Kong. She is the Convenor of the Positive Education Training and Research Unit, promoting positive education in schools and social welfare agencies. She has published more than 30 papers in reputed international refereed journals. Dedicated to the application of positive psychology to promote mental health, she has obtained more than US$964,000 grants for different positive psychology projects. She has been the reviewers and editors of different international refereed journals. She is also the external academic advisors of different Social Sciences programmes and external examiner of PhD students in both local and overseas universities. She got a Teaching Award by the College of Social Sciences in 1994, an Excellence in Knowledge Transfer Award by the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS) in 2013, while her students’ project got the Discovery Enriched Curriculum Award by CLASS in 2015.
