Taher Mohammed Mohiuddin is working as an Assistant Professor in Science and Technology Unit, in College of Medicine, at Umm-Al-Qura University, Makkah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has received Ph.D. in Biochemistry from University of Mysore in 1990. Presently his research is focused on Developing Molecular Pathology tests for various diseases which include Brain cancer, and Hemophilia using Sanger, NGS and Real-Time PCR methods. His previous work experience includes Associate Scientist in Department of Pathology at Columbia University Medical Center, New York, NY, also at the University of Pittsburgh, Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. Assistant Professor, in Department of Surgery, VCU, Richmond, VA, Instructor in Department of Pharmacology, Rush University Chicago, Associate Scientist, in Department of Urology, Columbia University, New York, NY. He has published in several international peer-reviewed journals. He has also presented in International Conferences such as- Experimental Biology, ISHR, RRS, Gordon Research Conference, AACR, and ISTH. He is also a member of Association for Molecular Pathology.
