Biography

Taichun Qin is a Research Fellow at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He finished his PhD in Cancer Biology and Pharmacology from the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center Houston in 2002 – 2008. He completed his BA in Pharmacy from Jiangxi Chinese Medical University Nanchang, China in 1992. He received the prestigious Rosalie B Hite Award and Cancer Answer Scholar Award from the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He is serving as an editorial board member of many reputed journals and as a reviewer of 4 journals. He has over 30 publications.

Research Interest

Gene transcription, DNA methylation, and Chromatin remodeling, Epigenetic therapy Drug resistance, Cancer Metastasis, DNA damage and repair and Pharmacogenomics.
