Talla M a-Al-Deehani is an associate professor of finance at Kuwait University, College of Business Administration, Department of Finance & Financial Institutions. He earned his PhD from the University of Bath, UK in 1990. His primary teaching interest is corporate finance. He has published a number of international and regional refereed journal articles. He has served as an assistant vice president and chairman of the department of finance & financial institutions at Kuwait University. He was involved in major consulting services for leading investment companies and other institutions.
His research interests include stock markets, valuation, capital structure, dividend policy and Islamic finance.
